A "Duplicate PO Warning" feature, ensuring users are alerted when entering an order number that's already been used.
In the world of meticulous job management, even small errors can lead to significant hiccups. Duplicate order numbers are more than just numbers; they can result in billing mistakes, payment delays, audit challenges, and much more. That's why we're proud to introduce the "Duplicate PO Warning" to our Group Jobs.
Head for the details tab of a group job, and you'll find the “Order Number” field. This is where the magic happens. Enter an order number, and we see it's already been used by that job contact—a warning will be presented on screen. It isn't just an alert; it's a safety net, helping you catch unintended duplications or errors in real-time.
While this warning is there to guide you, we trust your judgment. If you believe there's a reason to proceed despite the alert, you're free to update and save the group job as you see fit.
