Hello BigChange community! I'm Freddie, the Product Manager responsible for the JobWatch Mobile App. I've been working with the Product team for over two years. Before that, I was in the RoadCrew support team, where I learned all about the challenges our customers faced and became passionate about being a part of the team that solved those challenges.
One of the challenges our customers face is the need to spend time away from their desks while keeping an eye on their businesses running 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In this blog post, I want to introduce BigChange Express, the future of monitoring your business whilst on the move.

The Evolution: From JobWatch Express to BigChange Express
You might be familiar with the JobWatch Express Mobile App, a great companion for over 800+ users. It helped them monitor their vehicles, resources, and jobs and provided insights while on the move. While JobWatch Express has served our customers well, it was clear from customer feedback, that it was no longer meeting the needs of our customers. That's where BigChange Express comes in.
Why the change?
At BigChange, we're always looking to make improvements for our users. While functional, the legacy JobWatch Express app was clunky, and there were areas we knew could have been improved. The best solution was to rebuild the app with our users in mind and provide a more uniformed experience when monitoring your business. This was a win-win for us and our customers: ‘provide a better experience whilst utilising new technologies to make it even easier to add new functionality’.
What's new?
- Enhanced Tracking Experience: Our improved map functionality supports larger businesses with more vehicles and resources, making tracking even more effortless.
- User-Friendly Interface: We have combined the map and list views to reduce the steps needed to find your vehicles or resources.
- Top-Notch Security: Using the latest Auth0 technology, we ensure your data remains secure with your existing web user email and password.
- Easy Updates: Rebuilt from the ground up as a progressive web app, BigChange Express can be accessed through your phone, tablet or desktop browser. Regardless of the screen size, BigChange Express looks excellent.
This is just the beginning, and we have plans to add more functionality. Your feedback is vital in making sure we make BigChange Express the best product it can be.
I want to give a big thank you to those who have already been involved in our customer surveys and early access. As a Product Manager, there's nothing more valuable than working closely with customers to build a better product.
